The Society of Sports & Event Photographers (SEP) recently announced its fifth annual Action News Cover Contest. The free contest is open to any photographers who have fantastic sports, event or action images they’d like to submit.

First place is a free one-year membership to SEP and a cover feature in Action News. Other entries may be considered for future covers.

To enter, go to www.sepsociety.com. You may enter up to five images in digital, low-res JPEG format only (525×700 pixels) and the deadline for submissions is Aug. 29 at 5 p.m. ET. Judges include Peter Read Miller, Don Smith and David Stock.
