Canon’s New Printers Get Five-Star Ratings from BERTL

BERTL (Business Equipment Research and Test Laboratories) has given its highest possible rating to Canon’s new 44-inch imagePROGRAF iPF8300 and 24-inch iPF 6350 and  iPF6300 large format printers. As an independent analyst firm, BERTL reviews new printer products introductions on the basis of 11 categories: build quality, network administration, security, workflow, finish,ease of use, media handling, printing, image quality, features, and price.

Canon’s new printers were granted BERTL’s five-star, “Exceptional” rating, which is given to devices that deliver extraordinary performance throughout the testing process.

 The imagePROGRAF iPF8300, iPF6350 and iPF6300 are compliant with U.S. ENERGY STAR energy-saving standards and RoHS compliance standards.

Zimmerman Portrait Designs Displays Senior Portraits on Sunset Photo Metallic Paper

Last week, I received a nice note from Ric Zimmerman of Zimmerman Portrait Designs in Billings, MT saying how much he has enjoyed using LexJet’s Sunset Photo Metallic Paper.  Here’s what Ric wrote: “When I received it, I must admit that I wasn’t really excited to try it, so I walked around the box for a day or two. Then, I decided, what the heck, and wow, I was really blown away! The results that came off my Canon iPF8100 printer were fantastic!”

Zimmerman Portrait Designs just happened to be in the middle of changing all of their studio samples for the upcoming senior season, so Ric decided to print all the displays with Sunset Photo Metallic. Here are some of the photos he sent me.
