LexJet Helps You Create Spooky Good Graphics

When it comes to floor, wall, and décor graphics, LexJet has a scary good selection. Whether you’re using aqueous, solvent/latex, or dye-sub technology, you can create images for even the pickiest of monsters!

Frightening Floor Graphics

Every good haunted house needs a creaky and frightening floor. While none of these products will add any creaks, they can certainly add the fright:

LexJet Print-N-Stick Fabric is a quick and easy way to produce temporary floor graphics on your aqueous or latex printer. Because you want scary floor graphics, not dangerous ones, Print-N-Stick is ANSI certified for slip resistance.

LexJet Textured Indoor Floor & Wall Vinyl offers a textured surface and a high-tack adhesive that is also removable, which means no residue once you take up those fiendish floor graphics. Safety is always key, and LexJet Textured Indoor Floor & Wall Vinyl has R10B slip-certification.

Jessup SideWalk™ is a great way to lure people to their terrifying destinations. Ideal for concrete, asphalt, stairs, and other difficult exterior surfaces, SideWalk is ideal for sporting events, parades, sidewalks, and much more.

Wicked Window Solutions

One of the scariest parts of a haunted house is the creepy old windows. With these solutions, there’s no need for hard-to-see-through windows:

LexJet WR Window Graphic Film, compatible with aqueous and latex inks, is perfect for temporary window graphics and has a repositionable and removable adhesive. It’s an excellent choice for a “Keep Out” sign to warn people away from the mysterious mansion. And, once Halloween is over, simply remove the dire warning and leave no residue behind.

General Formulations 270 WindowMark™ Perforated Film 70/30 keeps people from looking in, yet you can keep a watchful eye for any unexpected guests. With 70% coverage, turn your windows into the ultimate hide-in-plain-site solution.

Mactac IMAGin Bfree Window Film, available in Dusted and Frosted finishes, is a translucent film that will illuminate when backlit. Is your house full of candles and jack-o-lanterns? Light up your windows with IMAGin Bfree.

Creepy ChromaLuxe Panels

Just because a house is haunted doesn’t mean there can’t be great décor! With ChromaLuxe Panels, everyone will be dying to see your art.

ChromaLuxe EXT – Gloss White gives a little extra pop to outdoor art and signs. Using dye-sublimation technology, ChromaLuxe EXT can liven up even the dimmest of spirits.

ChromaLuxe Textured Aluminum Photo Panels hides fingerprints from even the best ghost hunters. The texture can’t hide the bright colors, though. Images produced with ChomaLuxe Textured are just as vibrant as the smooth panels.

LexJet InFuze® Rigid Substrate Dye-Sublimation Paper pairs nicely with all the ChromaLuxe panels. They go together like orange and black or witches and black cats.

Sunset Image Awards Winners Unveiled

As the summer was winding down, LexJet held the Sunset Image Awards, an online photo contest to help all levels of photographers learn from Cheri and Dennis Hammon, and Pete Wright. Dennis is a Professional Photographers of America (PPA) affiliate juror and Cheri is a qualified juror for state competitions. Pete Wright is a professional photographer, a PPA juror, and a Canon Technical Specialist.

After each image was shown, the judges analyzed it and then offered their critiques and insights for the top images. While judging is subjective, the ratings are based on PPA’s 12 Elements of Merit.

Over 50 images were chosen to go to the final judging, where each image was scored. When a judge felt it was necessary, he or she challenged the scores and they discussed, in detail, why they scored the way they did.

After the discussion, jury chairperson Dennis Hammon would ask all the judges to score again. If you’ve never entered a photo competition, this was a great opportunity to see and hear how the judging happens.

In the video above, you can watch the judges’ announcement of the top image in each category:

  • Fine Art/Composite: “Hope” by Toni Harryman
  • Portrait: “Let Me Dream” by Mari Latozas
  • Wedding: “Wish” by Ricky Pan
  • Wildlife/Landscape: “Great Blue Heron in the Mist” by Becky Kempf

To watch the judges discuss and score the images, click on the video below. Stay tuned to the LexJet blog and Sunset and LexJet social media for updates on future Sunset Image Award competitions.
