CBS Outdoor and Titan Approved MetroMark Transit Vinyl Available in 62-Inch Widths

Transit advertising graphicsDesigned for outdoor transit applications and CBS Outdoor and Titan approved, MetroMark Transit Vinyl will be available in 62-inch widths at LexJet in mid-June, but you can pre-order the product now. This is good news since bus posters are typically 30 inches wide, so you’ll have less waste when you print two-up. Other sizes include 54″ x 150′, 54″ x 20′, 54″ x 300′, 64″ x 150′, 64″ x 300′, 64″ x 300′ (six-inch core) and 64″ x 750′.

“We love using MetroMark. It was easy to profile, prints consistent and reliable with great image quality, it applies quickly, and removes without heat. MetroMark has all the right features at a great price,” says Keith Bernard, owner of Road Signs Inc., Sarasota, Fla.

MetroMark Transit Vinyl is designed for outdoor transit applications like bus kings, queens and tail posters. It’s a 3.5-mil opaque, flexible vinyl with a matte finish, compatible with solvent, low-solvent, UV-curable and latex inks. The vinyl can also be layered if need be.

It can be used for temporary transit advertising programs. With a one-year removable adhesive it’s easy to take off and swap out at the end of the program. And, at around 22 cents per square foot, it’s an economical way to get your customer’s message across in transit.

Rebate Update on Canon, Epson and HP Inkjet Printers

Wide format inkjet printer rebates and specialsCanon, Epson and HP have announced their latest rebates and specials for the month of May. Rebates range up to $10,000 and include mail-in, trade-in and instant rebates. Here’s the scoop…

Canon is offering a variety of rebates on its latest generation of printers include the iPF5100, iPF6300, iPF6350, iPF6300S, iPF8000S, iPF8300, iPF8300S, iPF9000S and the iPF9100, most of which expire on June 30.

Epson’s mail-in and instant rebates expire on May 31, and include the Epson Stylus Pro 3880 K3 Ink, Stylus Pro 3880 Signature Worthy Edition, Stylus Pro 3880 Designer Edition, Stylus Pro 4900 HDR Ink, Stylus Pro 4900 Designer Edition, Stylus Pro 7890 K3 Ink, Stylus Pro 7890 Designer Edition, Stylus Pro 9700 VM, Stylus Pro 9890 K3 Ink, Stylus Pro 9890 Designer Edition, Stylus Pro 9900 HDR Ink, Stylus Pro 11880 K3 Ink and the Stylus Pro GS6000 solvent printer.

HP is offering cash back for your current qualifying printer when purchasing or leasing a new HP Designjet T790 44″ ePrinter, an HP Designjet T790 44″ PostScript ePrinter, an HP Designjet T1300 44″ PostScript ePrinter, an HP Designjet T2300 PostScript eMFP Printer, an HP Designjet Z6200 42″ Photo Printer or an HP Designjet Z6200 60″ Photo Printer between May 1 and June 30. You can get up to $150 cash back when you add a qualifying HP Care Pack Service to the purchase.

New Environmentally Friendly Display Films for Solvent, Latex, UV Curable Printers

Sustainable and economical inkjet display filmDeveloped for print shops looking for sustainable, economical and high-quality inkjet display media, LexJet introduces two new PVC-free, phthalate-free display films optimized for solvent, low-solvent, latex and UV-curable printers: LexJet PVC-Free Display Film (12 Mil) and LexJet PVC-Free Display Film (18 Mil).

Both are rigid polypropylene films with a satin finish and are offered in two different thicknesses to provide greater application flexibility.
