Photo Papers the Pros Trust

Clark Marten KODAK media

Kodak has been a trusted name in the photo industry since 1888, when it was founded by George Eastman in Rochester, NY. These days, Kodak brings its mastery of all things photo-related to inkjet media that is compatible with Epson, Canon and HP printers.

Today’s Scouting Report focuses on Kodak Professional Inkjet Photo Papers, Glossy Finish and Lustre Finish. These papers were updated in 2012 to perform even better with modern inkjet printer inks. They have a larger color gamut and higher Dmax to produce images with richer blacks, a wide color spectrum and the finest details, even in shadows.

This true-color output makes the Kodak photo papers ideal for weddings, high-end retail, landscape, portraits, exhibit photography and more. The lay-flat technology that keeps the papers from curling make them easy to work with and ideal for portraits, as well.

Kodak Professional Inkjet Photo Paper, Glossy Finish weighs in at 255 gsm with a smooth, high-gloss finish for maximum impact. Kodak Professional Inkjet Photo Paper, Lustre Finish weighs in at 255 gsm with a satin finish similar to e-surface papers used in traditional darkroom printing. Plus, they have the Kodak watermark printed on the back — a symbol recognized by discerning end-customers.

Both resin-based inkjet photo papers are available in various sheet and roll sizes up to 60 inches wide. Call a LexJet representative to learn more about Kodak’s modern media at 800-453-9538.
