At LexJet, we’re thrilled so many photographers have expressed interest in entering LexJet’s Shine On Print Contest. However, because some customers have asked us for more time, we’re pleased to announce that the deadline for entering the content has been extended to Tuesday, Aug. 31.

It’s not surprising that interest in the Shine On Print Contest is so high because we’ll be giving away so many great prizes! The top prize is a 24-in. Canon imagePROGRAF iPF6300 printer worth $3,695. (If you’re not yet familiar with all of the features of this remarkable printer, download the brochure from LexJet’s website.)
Other great prizes include:
- three Apple iPads;
- three $250 LexJet Gift Cards
- three $150 LexJet Gift Cards
There is no entry fee and the contest is open to photographers of all backgrounds and experience levels. The winners will be announced in September.
The main requirements are: (1) the image must be printed on LexJet Sunset Photo Metallic paper; and (2) each print must be no smaller than 8 x 10 and no larger than 16 x 20 in. in size and mounted on a standard mount board.
You can enter a total of three prints, in one, two, or all three categories of competition:
- wedding/portrait;
- nature/landscape/fine art;
- open

Jury Chairman: Carmen Schettino
A past president of the Professional Photographers Society of New York and the Advertising Federation of the Suncoast, Carmen Schettino currently works in Sarasota, FL. He has more than 20 years of experience on assignments that have run the gamut from Fortune 500 companies and corporate executives to family portraits. Carmen has earned Master of Photography and Photographic Craftsman degrees from the Professional Photographers of America. In recognition of superior work, he is one of 150 photographers in the world to have his work selected for exhibition at the International Photography Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City. He is a frequent judge and lecturer to professional photographers throughout the United States and Canada. During the 15 years that he has operated a full-service photography studio in Bradenton, FL, Alfred Gordon has won numerous awards for his wedding photography, including the WPPI Grand Award. His work has been featured in national magazines and he is one of a small group of photographers in Florida that holds the Master Photographer and Photographic Craftsman Degrees from the Professional Photographers of America and the equivalent from the state of Florida, the FDPE and the FSA. He is also a certified Professional Photographer from the PPA and has earned the AOPA degree from Wedding and Portrait Photographers. International (WPPI). Judge: Charles N. Neubauer
Photographic artist Charles Neubauer is a respected lecturer, judge, and author of the subject of fine portraiture. He has been named one of Florida’s Top Ten Photographers and Bay Area Photographer of the Year. His portraits have been accepted for display in the Professional Photographers of America International Print Exhibitions and in their prestigious Traveling Loan Collection. Judge: Gloria Pearse
Florida-based portrait and wedding photographer Gloria Pearse has been an active member of the Professional Photographers of America and the Florida Professional Photographers for over 20 years. She is a Master of Photography and a past president of the Bay Professional Photographers. Gloria has taught digital photography and Photoshop and has served as a judge for many photography groups in Flordia.
