Pull Them in With Printable Magnetic Sheeting

After much anticipation and customer demand, LexJet now offers inkjet printable magnet sheeting from our partners at Magnum Magnetics.

“I was very impressed with the magnets,” says Rick Bebar of Fast Print, Ottawa, Ill., who used DigiMag Gloss for 500 3-x-5-inch magnets, pictured above. “I really liked the way they looked – the colors turned out great.”

The magnetic products available at LexJet include:

  • Magnum Magnetics DigiMag in Gloss or Matte, the popular vinyl sheeting that can be cut into any sheet and doesn’t require lamination
  • Magnum Magnetics DigiMaxx, 48-inch rolls that can be cut, perforated or die-cut; compatible with UV curable printers
  • Magnum Magnetics MuscleMag Latex, strong but thin magnets ideal for outdoor signage and vehicle signs; compatible with latex inks
  • Magnum Magnetics RubberSteel, lay-flat, super-strong magnets that wrap around curved surfaces without creasing

Fast Print OttawaBebar used DigiMag for the small magnets and for 4-x-5-inch car magnets designed for Girl Scout leaders. Bebar used his HP 360 Latex printer for these projects, and emphasized the need to have the proper profiles for printing long runs.

“As the printing went on, we started getting double images on the back of the sheets, but then my sales rep got me the right profiles,” he says.

Printed magnets have a variety of application uses, such as:

  • Vehicles
  • POP displays
  • Retail stores
  • Restaurants
  • Classrooms
  • Offices
  • Trade shows
  • Menu boards, and more
