At the WPPI Show in March, Canon introduced three new imagePROGRAF wide-format printers for photography, graphic arts, and proofing: the 44-in. iPF8300 and the 24-in. iPF 6350 and iPF6300. All three of these exciting new printers are now available from LexJet.
You can find more details about each of these printers on LexJet’s website, or click here for a full-color brochure outlining all the new features of all three of the new printers.
A previous post discussed the enhanced Media Configuration tool that will make printing with LexJet and other materials a lot more straightforward. Starting in May, you will be able to download profiles for LexJet Sunset photo and art papers, canvas, and other LexJet print media from the LexJet website and upload them directly into the printer.
Another key feature of the new printers is Canon’s new LUCIA EX pigment ink set, which was developed in conjunction with other engineering modifications on the new printers to further improve image quality and print durability. All 12 colors of inks were reformulated to deliver a wider color gamut, more expressive blacks, better scratch resistance, exceptional color stability, and reduced gloss differential. You can read more details about the new inks in Vol. 5, No. 4 of LexJet’s In Focus newsletter.
Ask for a Print Sample: If you considering upgrading your equipment, and would like to compare output from the new Canon printers to your current wide-format printer model, a LexJet account specialist can make a test print from one of your images or graphic files. This is a great way to see for yourself whether the new models can make a noticeable improvement with the type of images you print on the materials you use most often. A LexJet rep can also tell you about special promotions and discounts that might make buying one of the new printers easier on your budget. Call us today at 800-453-9538.
