LexJet brandUP: A Tail-Wagging-Worthy Business Décor Upgrade

For a shop that caters to cuddly cuteness all day long, Average Joe’s Grooming‘s new space was a little bland. Although the walls were painted cheery sky blue and mint green, the owners Brittany Fenner and Tracey Barette knew their workplace décor could use an infusion of personality to match their happy, furry clients.

That’s where the LexJet brandUP crew came in to create and install custom graphics and photography that was both fun and functional. The team started with the most pressing issue: the front window.

For long periods of the day, the sun beats down into the grooming area, and passersby would catch the dogs’ attention and incite a bit of chaos. To deflect the sun and the unwanted attention, we installed a customized graphic of a giant doggie kiss with a touch of advertising wording using LexJet Simple Perforated Window Vinyl (70/30).

“It looks great,” Fenner says. “And our customers think it’s playful and fun. It’s just really inviting.”

“There’s a picture of dog with goggles on the wall, and I can see it through my grooming window,” Fenner says. “It makes me smile every time – it’s so goofy looking.”

The LexJet team printed a large canvas print of Joe, the shop’s namesake, on LexJet Sunset by Fredrix Satin Canvas SUV, and installed paw print floor graphics with panoRama Walk & Wall and contour cut wall decals with cartoon images and funny sayings using LexJet Solvent Print-N-Stick Fabric.

“Our customers have told us that our shop looks the best of all the ones they’ve gone to,” Fenner says. “It’s just more than I could have ever imagined.”
