We’re pleased to announce that Fernando Lozano of Santa Monica, Calif., was selected in a random drawing as the winner of the Epson Stylus Pro 4900 with UltraChrome HDR Ink, the final prize in our #LJPhoto contest.
During May, LexJet joined the National Photo Month celebration, asking our social media followers to post photos they took using the hashtag #LJPhoto. More than 240 photos were submitted from our followers all around the country.
“I’m really surprised. This is incredible,” says Lozano, a former advertising agency owner and current digital fine art artist focusing on political art in the Los Angeles area.
Lozano currently owns a 60-inch printer for his large works of art, but says the additional printer will allow him to focus more on photograph production, too, for gallery showings.
Lozano submitted two photos to LexJet’s Facebook page, included this one titled “Two Lost Souls.”
“I was walking in downtown LA to my exhibit, and I looked down and saw these two shoe soles,” he says. “So I took a couple of shots. I thought they were great. I use things like that for my art a lot. It’s like found art in the city.”
Throughout the month, we also chose a weekly photo to highlight. The four people who won a plush Epson beach blanket were Jason Curd, Steve Filipiak, Daniel Blakeman and Dennis Hammon.
Congrats, Fernando, and all of our weekly winners! And thanks to everyone who submitted photos throughout the month. And a special note of appreciation to Epson for helping sponsor this fun contest.
