Earlier this summer, Epson announced the newest generation of photo printers, the Epson SureColor P800, which prints 17-inches wide and up to 10-feet long. This machine has been loaded with state-of-the-art technology from Epson, and it replaces the popular Stylus Pro38xx Series.
The P800 is outfitted with Epson MicroPiezo AMC print heads and the very latest UltraChrome HD eight-color pigment ink set, both of which make it the go-to printer for artists and photographers looking for true-to-life image reproduction with improved lightfastness.
“The SureColor P800 redefines the 17-inch photographic printing market, providing robust photo, fine art and canvas media handling capabilities, all focused on delivering stunning exhibition-quality prints that stand the test of time,” says Larry Kaufman, product manager, Professional Imaging, Epson America.
In addition to superior color and deeper black density, the P800 also offers a sheet feeder for easier handling and printing of thicker fine-art papers or even poster board. An optional roll media adapter allows users to print panoramas up to 10-feet long. Even with its improvements, the P800 is the smallest printer in its class, so it won’t take up valuable desk or office space.
The Epson SureColor P800 is currently on sale from LexJet for $1,195. Keep an eye on our monthly instant and mail-in rebates from Epson, as well.
