Wildlife Photographer Applauds LexJet Sunset Photo Metallic as ‘Best of Both Worlds’

We appreciate all of the feedback we get from customers who try different products. LexJet uses these insights to continually develop new and improved products.

For example, we recently received a nice note from Brian Hampton, the nature and wildlife photographer who was featured in Vol. 4, No. 1 of LexJet’s In Focus newsletter for a 5 x 8 ft. print he produced on LexJet Sunset Photo eSatin 300g paper for a special exhibition at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History. (The print showcased Brian’s image of a lioness that was the grand-prize winner in the Nature’s Best Photography Windland Smith Rice International Awards.)  In the note Brian tells us why he is so impressed with LexJet’s new Sunset Photo Metallic paper.

First Users of Sunset Photo Metallic Begin to Spread the Word

We’re delighted to see that some of the first customers to try LexJet Sunset Photo Metallic paper for inkjet photo printing are helping us spread the word. For example, we noticed that photographer Jack V. Johnson had written about Sunset Photo Metallic on his blog.

So, we contacted him and asked if he would mind providing more detailed comments and an image of one of the prints he had made with the new paper.

Here’s what Jack Johnson had to say: “LexJet’s Sunset Photo Metallic is the paper I’ve been waiting for. I’ve made a number of prints of my landscape photos, and everyone who has seen them has commented on their feeling of depth and luminosity. I can’t wait to print more images on this paper!”  He praised the rich, vibrant colors, deep blacks, and distinctive metallic peralescence he was able to achieve in the prints rolling off his own in-studio inkjet printer.
