Outdoor signage transferred to ChromaLuxe EXT

ChromaLuxe EXT — Another important product line for our dye-sub customers is the stunning ChromaLuxe metal photo panels, a high-demand item. This year, ChromaLuxe introduced its EXT line, geared toward extended outdoor use — something dye-sub wasn’t able to achieve previously. The EXT innovation won ChromaLuxe an SGIA Product of the Year award, and it’s not hard to see why. Check out this story about how the panels were used as wayfinding signs for Felts Audubon Preserve.

AveryxLexJet — In one of the wide-format industry’s biggest news stories of the year, LexJet partnered with Avery Dennison, adding more than 200 calendared and cast vinyl, film and laminate products to our product line. Now, LexJet customers have access to all the vehicle and fleet wraps, wall films and so much more.

Looking for Cast Vinyl? LexJet and Avery Dennison Have You Covered

When it comes to vehicle graphics, Avery Dennison is one of the most recognizable brands on the market, and LexJet offers one of the most diverse products in the Avery Dennison line: MPI1105 SuperCast. 

The MPI1105 series — designed for use with latex, solvent and UV-curable printers — is ideal for irregular surfaces, including compound curves and corrugations, meaning it can be used for full or partial wraps on vehicles, fleet branding or for boat wraps and graphics (Easy Apply, only). The SuperCast products must be partnered with Avery Dennison’s line of cast vinyl laminates to provide the highest level of protection from the elements.

Let’s Take It Outside with Avery Dennison Films and Laminates

Ever-evolving printer technology allows print service providers to find ways to capture the attention of customers who want to take their advertising outside with exterior, transit or décor graphics. Now, PSPs have even more options for long-term outdoor signage; vehicle, transit and marine graphics; and floor, wall and window advertising, thanks to the addition of Avery Dennison films and laminates to the LexJet portfolio.

  • Avery Dennison MPI 2105 is an easy-to-use product for producing graphics for anything from fleet vehicles to outdoor signage and trade shows. It features the Easy Apply feature, which helps reduce mistakes during application.
  • Avery Dennison MPI 2050 is a translucent, calendered option that works well for illuminated signs or other backlit applications and offers great image quality.

Both MPI 2105 and MPI 2050 can be used with the Avery Dennison DOL 2000 series of laminates. These 3.1 mil calendered vinyl laminates are available in Gloss (DOL 2060), Luster (DOL 2070) or Matte (DOL 2080) to ensure you get the right finish for your graphics.

One of the best sellers in the Avery Dennison repertoire is the MPI 1105 super cast vinyl. It is designed to be paired with DOL 1060Z High Gloss, DOL 1080Z Matte, DOL 1380Z Matte or DOL 1460Z Gloss for optimal durability and protection. This family of products can be used in wide-ranging applications from fleet and transit to marine and watercraft.

Outside of transportation, the 1105 family can be used in POP/tradeshow applications as well as general outdoor signage. The conformability of this product allows you to tackle rivets, compound or simple curves, and corrugation.  This is one of the most versatile products currently available from LexJet.
